That's an older pitch meeting and you can feel it. This movie deserves the manic enthusiasm of the newer pitches. Honest trailers was better here. Can't wait for that 98-2 pitch meeting poll. Loved this movie from the jump. It's just a straight up comedy but it is really really fun. While Hella was pretty one-dimensional I enjoyed the hell outta Cate Blanchet just devouring every scene she was in. And since I very rarely go to the theaters, I'm usually looking for big dumb fun.

Thor talking to the skeleton in the beginning was a joke about narration in the beginning of movies, I thought. I had bing watched, bing saw, bingededed Cinimasins around the time and there are so many movies that have narration in the beginning, I was baffled, shell shocked even. It was the perfect timing for me to see the movie.

Hela does look Hela Good in this Movie & Valkerye is Banging. I'm a Fan of Thor so even his Worse Movies I like but this is by far 1 of my favourite mcu films definaley top 5 it goes Infinity war civil war winter soldier ragnarok than endgame. Honest trailers is better this time tho.

This time I agree Honest Trailers won, but of course Pitch Meeting was good. I've avoided delving into Thor too much. I know what's coming, what they're up to just from the reviews/trailers and general unstated mission statement. This is a one one to do what they do with so they'll go all out I'm sure. It does look entertaining though so it's on the list to get around too...eventually.

Yeah, it's good because it's different from the other Thor movies, but it still feels like every other Marvel film. So, that's probably why I was a little bored in the theater.

Super person/villain I like and know.... are you in that body? You know in the last few movies you ...what?....that important thing is meaningless now?...Oh..Ok" Or, they want to use the Supers but don't want to make it too involved because that's reserved for the massive everybody under contract extravaganzas.

Honest Trailers made me nod and laugh throughout so my votes on HT. I actually liked Thors 1 and 2 so was a bit disappointed in the uneven tone of Ragnarok. Shouldn't the deaths of the Warriors 3 and the entire Asgardian army at Hela's hands be mourned, even for a minute? Joking about Asgard's destruction as it's happening also wasn't funny. Oh well, I did enjoy Loki's last minute redemption and everything Valkyrie, so that's something!

Valkyrie's quick scene battling Hela was beautiful!!! I'd want to see a whole movie that looked like that. I agree, the tone was definitely a head scratcher. It seemed like Marvel didn't even take the losses of life seriously. I felt nothing when Thanos killed more than half of the Asgardians in Infinity War because it didn't really seem like any of the characters cared that much, at least in the beginning.

It was funny but more ridiculous than comedic. Nothing was taken seriously. I understand they wanted to change the tone from The Dark World but that’s just as bad on the other end. If you take the two part Avengers: Infinity War & Endgame, it was funny but it was fucking awesome with cool fighting scenes and epic music! Those are superhero movies!!

But he was able to reflect the pain in the movies after that. I can't remember Cap actually crying over anyone. Thor and Tony both got that moment.

Thor:Ragnarok was a travesty. They made us wait 4 years to find out what happened to Odin, did nothing with him, then unceremoniously killed him. What an insult to Anthony Hopkins. I actually loved that movie. Haven't watched the TV show yet. I do agree with you though. I think his take on the property was a welcomed change because the 1st 2 movies weren't that great and any change was going to be accepted. Taika's choices were odd for me too due to Thor taking no time to really reflect on the things happened in such a short span of time
