This scene is so magical, right up there with the shower scene. PP2 lacked scenes like this where it just felt kinda awkward, but warm, good, and natural, all at the same time. 5 years later and I still don't mind watching this on loop! Brittany Snow is just friggin gorgeous. They kinda neglected her character in the second one. :( More scenes with Anna Camp, Anna Kendrick and Brittany Snow please! The chemistry is just crazy!

I agree. In the movie it appears as though Beca came up with this mashup 'on the fly' (and I understand why it was portrayed that way); however, in reality someone did a lot of work to come up with these two songs, and then produce a superb acapella arrangement of them.

@@RhiannonFan I mean, acapella isn't easy to do on any level, but on a professional level they make it look easy because they are all super talented in their own ways, from the beatboxers to the rhythm setters, of course the lead singers as well. This are two ways I've always viewed this scene, as some have also suggested, is where the characters of Chloe and Beca are, very subtly, talking about their feelings for each other. Yet, they decided to go with them as bf's and both get boyfriends. If the producers said yes to them getting together, then I'm sure the writers would've been fine to write them as girlfriends, but the producers had to be dicks and pull the plug. There was total chemistry between both actresses and it would've worked fine.
