What Aman did was really cheap and disrespectful towards Piyush who hadn't officially exitted the deal. A lot of time these founders really don't know how to counter back. There are IBs who handle mergers and acquisitions, and they have impeccable soft skills to deal with such scenarios and close deals in their favour.

These deals are not final deals. Then they have back deals where they can decline the offer and take other offers. Hammer to was bought by Aman in show but post the telecast Hammer team didn't sell the company to Aman.
