Solid wisdom right there at the beginning. Many in bands sometimes view the singer as a 'narcissist, self-centred blah blah' . As a frontman myself, who's also been a guitarist and bassist i say; AMEN BOBBY & SLY STONE! Exactly right.. you're communicating / selling a story, a feeling, trying to evoke an emotion.. its about moving that audience.. most dont know or care about the technicalities of tuning, key changes, etc etc.. its what they FEEL and the singer is talking to them predominantly, most of the time.. RIP legend x
