Never in my whole life I thought I would see Dominick Fernow smiling AND dancing. Ultra-rare sight.

It was like 85 degrees that day (I'm gonna say it was the 2pm set) and dudes stuck to the all black with leather jackets. Unbelievably awesome set. Can't wait to see them again for the new Fate album. They always sound amazing live.

@Bark3rd4 жыл бұрын
Just discovered this band. Havent had such a favorite song in a long long time. Awesome! And I'm 51, came of age with Joy Div, New ORder, Depeche, and this is like a glorious combo. I just want to trance dance to this like when I was young. Love it!

Wow, Cold Cave’s live show has evolved a lot since then (and not just them never playing sets during the day at festivals anymore either). Seeing them live earlier this year and then going back and watching this, they became a much better live band now than how they were almost 10 years ago.

Waiting for the stars to align There is a restless raincloud in my mind Heavy eyes fixed in the middle of the room And you're looking for a point to all that you do I feel guilty being alive When so many beautiful people have died I never thought that we wouldn't rule the world I always think we will I keep my fist clenched still Oh, I'm coming When you see me you should run and hide It's important that evil people look good on the outside I know the stars will align If not tonight then some other time Sleeping off the shade in the back of a car I tried to get away but the car wouldn't start I may never get it right My chemicals may balance in some other life I never thought that we wouldn't rule the world I always think we will I keep my teeth gnashed still Oh, I'm coming When you see me you should run and hide It's important that evil people look good on the outside You look so good on the outside I feel so good on the outside

I feel like I’m secretly watching a teenager with no inhibitions sing and dance in his bedroom in front of a full length mirror. Depeche Mode is blaring. He has no clue that I’m there. He’s rubbing his chest and thrashing around like a five-year-old that ingested too much sugar. It’s awkward. I feel sort of embarrassed for him, but I just can’t stop watching.
