Matt's description made me laugh more and more the longer it went on. However, I'm going to vote for Fudj, because I could see myself potentially watching someone (there would be someone, we all know there would be someone) play through Matt's game with KZbin set to 1.5x speed, but playing Fudj's game would be too relatable to be ironically funny to me, and I would just want to unalive myself.

you can tell Matt worked as a game tester because he knows exactly how to make, not just a bad game, but an annoying game. When he said "text that moves just slower than you can read" I felt that in my soul.

the thing is, millenial microgames sounds like it would be relatively easy to make, and would give the player a laugh. i used to do game jams where the goal was to make terrible games, and the last one i ever made was something close to millenial microgames (though it instead would randomly make your two buttons either the win button or the lose button, and not tell you which was which). matt's is definitely the winner here, it's a death by a thousand cuts.

This'll be really interesting, I'm extremely interested, this is interesting Edit: Hah it was interesting, and I think matt wins, The Final Legend sounds like it could be a contender for "it gets good eventually" and then you look up the play time and it's 120 hours long, with 110 hours of cutscenes

Fudj's game is definitely worse, but it's still a spectacle to see how the game will fuck you over this time. Matt's game just sounds like the most bog standard, bland, boring game from the mid 2000s, and that's an infinitely worse experience.
