I never even thought of going in the middle of the grass until I let a friend take the front one day and he did just that. He plowed us right in the middle and I have never had so much fun bass fishing. That day was truly epic!! Caught my PB that day 👍🏻

I fought as an amateur and professional until about 5 years ago and transitioned my competitive drive into bass fishing, I love all aspects of bass fishing but flipping is the one thing that gets my blood pumping.

Isn’t this what they use to call flipping not pitching? What is the difference?

As originally defined flipping didn’t freespool the reel - the angler just pulled some line in with their off hand. Pitching was holding the bait in off hand, free spooling reel and using a short underhand cast. But nowadays it’s he terms are used interchangeably and the distinction has been lost.
