Trevor.. I really appreciate you. I relate to the outsider oddball thing you have/had going on. I'm sure you inspire a lot of people that dont fit into the sterotypes of most of the people doing the thing they love and wish to do. You are still building your baseball legacy, the high level pitching you are doing for the Diablos and all the vlogs and wide breadth of content and information you put up for everyone. Those things are all adding up to a story that isnt over yet bro. You've got a buzz around u right now I think and I have an intuition that you may see the show again. Thank you for the "swords" and other various attempts to bring some excitement/entertainment and youthful attention to baseball and bring us those "dunked on" moments. Keep spreading the love for baseball. I'm 33 and have only sort of been a baseball fan ( I knew maybe 20 players all time ) even to the point I still wasn't 100% clear on all of the rules lol. You and Eric and the stuff you've brought to KZbin has really enriched my recent deep dive into the baseball rabbit hole. Keep up everything dude. Buena suerte!

How awesome is this video? I teach social studies at an inner city school, so I recognize the power of education and how it’s not always available to everyone… The Reds only Cy Young winner paying it forward! I’m a football coach who inherited an elite youth team because they paid coaches bailed.. Im trying to learn as much as I can about teaching pitching… Our players have to pay $$$ for Top Velocity or go without and here can get training from a Cy Young winner for free! So awesome!

@pavanatanaya2 жыл бұрын
Seems like the later the hip rotation, the less Glute/ max is actually engaged. Medial Glutes are weak relative to Max. Maybe starting with the back foot at a 45' angle will rotate the hips earlier? Once the rear foot is loaded, pivoting the heel puts too much torque on the rear knee. The rear hip will be delayed until the rear leg is unloaded and is just along for the ride, its not driving.

So when outfielders are crow hopping and then pulling down 95 mph + , they have a back ward hip tilt then have to eventually come back to level hips to generate that velocity on their throws to gun runners out at home plate?
@baileysmith47442 жыл бұрын
at 8:00 i think the reason for the hips being off might be because hes not on a mound, but still good advise just incase hes also doing this on a mound

The picture Trevor drew of the 6’7 kid made him look like he was dropping into an athletic position (like playing defense in basketball) when my son does this he’s had zero issues but he goes away from it. Anyone else see this? Or do it?
@familyfunsoflo37022 жыл бұрын
Now I’m confused. A very reputable baseball facility is saying that based on research the most important variable to increasing velocity is the duration and amount of force applied through the back leg toward second base and the way to accomplish that is by tilting the pelvis. You’re saying to keep the hips level. What would you say to that facility?

Hey Trevor just a question: I'm 14 and haven't played organized baseball in a while, (I played until 3rd grade ish and then stopped) do you think it's too late for me to try and pick it back up? I've been trying to pitch and hit some and I'm reasonably athletic, but am i gonna be too far behind to catch up to guys my age?
@andrewgabriel48662 жыл бұрын
Hey brother, it's never too late to pick it up again. I played my whole childhood and quit mid high school. Didn't pick back up till I was 25 and I'm having a great time playing in amateur adult leagues and tournaments. A couple years of this and I have no intention of stopping. You can play till you are 60 if you want, keep the love of game strong!
