Pitching reeds for bass

It was about a hundred degrees that day. I think it was around august 15th. I was pre- fishing for our club's ToC. On tournament day a terrible cold front came thru with like 30 mph winds and didn't quite go like this... We ended up in taking 6th in the championship.

Thanks! Yeah, one weird thing, they were kinda hanging out in packs of 2 to 3. Seemed if I caught one and then made the same cast, another would bite. I've never really seen that fishing in shallow reeds. All day too.
