Crazy how he got rinsed here even though he played great vs Aston Villa maybe man of the match, Impressed off the bench against Man City, Really good and probably second best player against Southampton behind a Chalobah, Amazing against Brentford and the best outfield player on the pitch, quality assist off the bench against Norwich to give mount his hatrick, impressive off the bench vs Newcastle. Clearly none of them have watched him or payed attention to him this season and are just judging him off Fulham because right now he’s playing so well every game.

@@TheCaptainShadows Spot on here mate, I make notes of my player ratings for every game and in the last 2 months and Ruben Loftus Cheeks average rating over the last 2 months is the 3rd highest only behind Kovačić and Silva. He’s been very very good and the Fulham loan was just about him playing matches again like you said because of his injury he just needed to getting some minutes in the bank.

@@matthewsantos6282 Precisely. I’d probably have my list as something similar. Ruben in full flight is an absolutely brilliant player. We saw those levels in 18/19 and I think he’s ready to reach them again. He’s more confident in his body now than ever. Last season he was available for selection almost every week, which for him is a massive step. He’s been very impressive so far this season and I hope there’s more to come. One of my (if not my most) favourite players at the club. I think he’s probably our most universally loved player.

So some people can think Ronaldo has been better than Messi but it’s a warning sign that they are more likely to be a United/Real Madrid/Portugal fan, be too young to have watched all their careers or just not know a lot about football. And someone has a right to an opinion but I don’t have to respect it. It’s like if someone said Giroud was better than Messi, they can say that but I’m not going to take it seriously. I went to west ham vs man utd in the prem this season, and what a game that was, Benrahma scoring a jammy goal and witnessing the stadium erupt, the 🐐 scoring a tap in lol, lingard coming on to only go and score the winner, then watching Mark noble to come on just to take the penalty, and me recording the penalty saying "De Gea can't save a penalty to save his life" and then him going ahead and saving it, what a game that was, will forever remember it.
