Scott Kettner and Pitoco de Aira perform a traditional Candomblé rhythm called Batá Quebrado at World Drum Lessons headquarters.
Pitoco is an outstanding percussionist from Recife, Pernambuco, Brasil who started his journey with Afoxé Ylê de Egbá when he was only 4 years old. Soon after, he joined Nação Estrela Brilhante do Recife, where he is now one of the leaders. Pitoco is a master percussionist with a deep knowledge of Afro-Brazilian beats from Northeast Brazil.
