When I saw this posted, I was wondering if it was a buddy I was riding with on this day. We come by at 2:15. The ducati into the carousel made a clean pass, but I agree he should have held his line until turn in to the apex. The rider at 2:26 shouldn't have come under you on the inside, even with that much room. But it happens sometimes.

yea at least 2:26 allowed everyone to still keep their line and pace. 4:18 was sketchy though, pulled in front and dropped the anchor. Props to OP for avoiding contact.

Eh. I get that having someone drop in front of you and hit the brakes is annoying, it's going to happen. Don't see how that's close to a black flag, just a miscalculation. That said, in a TD definitely best practice to hold that line. Never know when you drop in front of a fast 13 year old on a 400. Glad you're having fun out there - Pitt is awesome.

looked like a clean pass since both bikes were still straight up and you weren't turning in yet but.. he should have kept his inside line and not cut over back into you.

@@halffastguy8024Cuz he actually made a clean pass. If you raced you'd know that and it wouldn't have bothered you that much. If you're gonna continue to ride intermediate get used to it cuz it only gets worse from here on out. Plus I think you need to work on your line more tbh. I'm not busting your balls but maybe get an instructor or someone that knows the line really good to show you and it'll help you improve your time as well

@@bradwalker3442 Track days aren't racing. In the N2 intermediate class that's a bad pass. (I showed the vid to an N2 coach friend and he said that move would have warranted a black flag had he seen it) The inside pass doesn't bother me; it's the pulling in front of me and hitting the hooks. That's bullshit. It's closer than it looks in video.

@@halffastguy8024 I agree with you 100% . This is somebody making a late pass then panic braking. It looked pretty close on camera, which means it was way too close in real life. Glad you swung wide and saved it, everyone should go home in 1 piece after a track day!
