I had forgotten about Ricki and Copper. Thank you for rekindling that memory. I do remember Hank Stohl and Rodney Buster Newton Hackenflash and Knish.

Rodney NUGENT Hackenflash, if you please! His "N" was expanded to a full name via a mail-in contest. I just bought a parrot I might name after him!

Wow - I was on the Rikki and Copper Show - probably around 1965. Oh I wish I had a copy of that episode! I even remember my song and my joke! Still love hostess cupcakes to this day!

I got to meet and talk to Bill Cardille, Bill Shaughnessey (Penn's Choice detergent among others), and Johnny Costs (piano player for Mr. Rogers). I also got to see Joe Negri live but didn't get a chance to talk to him.

Remember Paul Shannon's Adventure Time? And he would get a lot of viewer mail, and I think some of it was for Santa Clause or something because he loaded it all up into the side of a rocket and shot it to the North Pole.

Yep... I'm hoping to see Rodney Hackenflash and Knish on this show. Remember Paul Winchell's show? And the young Shari Lewis with Lambchop, Charlie Horse and her other characters as guests?

Where's "Bridge With Jean Cox?" Jeanie and Fred and Julia were all together in the "old" WQED building. Jeanie's show ran on 13 and 16 for 25 years. She was reporter for Women's affairs for the County Fair coverage, too. Should be worthy of notice.

bumfromph, thank you. Some stuff I vividly remember from 47 years ago (like the Channel 2 Sunday 11:00 News -- why did me folks let me stay up that late then? May--bro! George Eisenhauer, Marie Torre, Paul Shannon. Joe Negri and his D'Angelico New Yorker...WOW! I stumbled upon this while looking for some George Eisenhauer audio.A lot of history I was unaware of here, too.

Even thought I didn't grow up in the Pittsburgh area, it's nice to see Ricki Wertz on this video, because I found audio of four episodes of her show "Junior High Quiz" on the web. You can send me a private message and I can tell you the URL for those shows.

I am researching radio/TV host Jon Arthur, who created the show Big Jon and Sparkie. Jon Arthur took over, after The Jimmy Dean Show was cancelled on KDKA in 1957, and hosted his own show from 7am-8am Mon-Friday. Do you have any episodes of Jon Arthur's Pittsburgh AM show?
