The Steelers should have acquired Vita Vea or Dexter Lawrence in free agency when they had a chance. But management is too cheapskate to acquire either. If they aren't going to waste money on a quality NT, switch to a 4-4/4-3 defense and tell Watt and Highsmith to bulk up so they can adjust to be traditional DEs. The only thing that would be left in that case is to acquire Calais Campell. I would hate to see a front 4 D-line that has TJ Watt (LDE), Cam Heyward (RDT), Calais Campell (LDT) and Highsmith (RDE).

Our current roster has been suboptimal for years, drafting over last 7 years has been atrocious, we need better talent evaluators. Old, overpriced, unproductive defense. Lousy offense, but at least cheap. Philosophy on offense and defense is way behind the times

Then send a package with Najee to the saints and get Chris Olave. Then you keep Jalen Warren and then go in the draft and get a RB2 to develop and make the best RB duo in the league.
