Let you in on an interesting slant. Russ in the past has generally had a strong relationship with TE's when they are good at finding the cracks. It was at a time in Seattle OF that the slot and TE played a big part in the Offense and reads off play action. Doug Baldwin was a sneaky slot & Zach Miller. A strong slot that can be trusted helps Russ touch the middle more. Just saying

Call me crazy, but I think by the end of the season Roman Wilson will wildly be considered our top receiving threat. People keep getting hung up on his "size", but conveniently forget that arguably this teams greatest receiver had nearly identical measurables/speed. Not saying Roman's going to be THAT good, but there's also no reason to think he can't be.

Why not target DeAndre Hopkins from the Titans, he would make a great number 2 wide out and is a veteran whose presence and experience would be welcome to the younger Wideouts, and he is still a very talented receiver. Hopkins is sort of buried in the Titians wide receiver pool and probably could be got for a cheap price, since they sign Calvin Ridley.

Fields isn't as experienced yet, as polished, and isn't as accurate a passer however he is three inches taller and 25 lbs heavier and is every bit as much of a running threat. If the offensive line stinks He will get his opportunities. Russ Wilson can be great though. What is missing from his game is the ability to get in his teammates faces when they are making repeat mistakes. There is a time for being Mr. nice guy but sometimes a leader has to jerk a dude by the facemask and yell in the ear hole to wake up or play elsewhere. Brady did it often as did Payton Manning and Elway, Favre, Marino, Rodgers, Aikman, Kelly, Big Ben, and I think even Terry Bradshaw. I'm not certain about Joe Montana but his teams were so good he probably never had to do so.

I disagree I don’t think just because Russ had a good week that makes Justin in the loser list. It was never intended for Fields to start week 1. Tbh I think Justin is on the winners list because he also had a great week and on top of that I feel like conversation of this QB comp has actually picked up traction. Coming into this week I didn’t think he would start at all but going out of this week I feel like everything is on the table throughout the season

You’re correct from the standpoint that a good week is just a good week. But what you’re missing is that Russ is getting his confidence back, and that’s a scary thing for the league. Fields will never start over Russ. It’s impossible because, despite what people have said and heard over the past two years, Russ is still that dude! I keep telling people that they shouldn’t be surprised if Russ is in the MVP conversation this year, and I’m sticking with that. When Russ is at his best, there are two QBs in his class: Rodgers and Mahomes. Call me crazy all you want to, but all these false narratives about Russ are a bunch of smoke-filled cr@p. Russ is just too talented, too experienced, too skilled, too hungry, and too motivated not to hang onto his job.

You’re dreaming. Fields has no chance of starting over Russ unless Russ gets injured. You can hope and wish for Fields all you want to - why you don’t just root for the better QB is beyond me - but hoping and wishing won’t make it come true. Russ is away better QB. Wait until they start putting in the schemes and designing things. That’s when you’ll see the biggest difference between the two, which is between the ears. Russ will take to it like a fish to water and Fields will struggle. Furthermore, Russ is much more accurate and can hit receivers from all angles, including over the middle, side-arm to the left or across his body from the right. This lie that Russ can’t throw over the middle…??? Bull! I’ve seen him pick apart elite defenses throwing over the middle and playing on schedule. Russ is a great QB, man. Root for the best, not the guy you like or the guy you think has potential. Russ has done it! He doesn’t need potential. Show me a guy with potential and I’ll show you a guy who isn’t getting the job done.

JF supporters are convinced that the problems in Chicago weren't JF fault. They believe he didn't have a supporting staff. Now, they want him starting because they believe that the Steelers have a better supporting staff. He also believes that the Steelers have exactly what he needs to be a great quarterback. Well, most people are not buying it. JF played three years in Chicago as the starter, and guess what? His play got worse each year. One would think he would make some adjustments in his game. But he didn't. In fact, he continued to play in a style of play that yielded poor results. The kind of results that tell the world that I will force my way of playing until I win. And frankly, the owners, coaches, and fans do not have the time to wait for him to figure out how to take a team to the playoffs.
