@Jack Every time you do these CB scenarios you leave out D. Rush. Rush is 6'2" vs. Trice 6'3". Rush runs a 4.37 40 vs Trice 4.48 40 both play press cover. The difference is Rush hasn't been hurt the last two years

The Steelers have roughly 20 MIL in Cap Space. Cut Holcomb and Herbig will save 8 Mil, then you will have 28 Mil in Cap Space. Go and Sign/Trade for DK Metcalf or Courtland Sutton, Sign Justin Simmons or Stephen Gilmore and Sign Calias Campbell. These additions win the Super Bowl. Not to fast on Kazee. Cam Sutton will be resigned. And The 2024 Camp Darling is already SLCB Beany Bishop!

Dan Moore is not a bad player. Troy has not proven himself. Same with James Daniel is proven. Just because the Steelers pick players in the first and second, does not mean they should start. First and second drafted players are overrated by fans and the media.

Is it beginning to sink in to the “start Justin Fields crowd” that they’ve been delusional this whole time? The Bears aren’t stupid. They had no intention of trading JF to the Steelers before Mason Rudolph and Kenny Pickett left, even though JF had been asking them to trade him there even in December. Once Russ signed with Pittsburgh, the Bears were all too happy to send him there because they knew he wouldn’t play much, let alone start over Russ. People need to get it through their heads: this story that the Bears “wanted to do right by JF” is bull. The Bears wanted to do right by the Bears! The decision to trade JF in favor of drafting Caleb Williams was controversial. They couldn’t have JF go to a team, start, play well over the first five or six weeks while Caleb struggled, and have their own players and fans questioning them about the trade decision. They traded JF to the Steelers because they needed him somewhere sitting on the bench. If he chooses to stay a QB instead of converting, his day will come again, and when it does he will be very successful, but for now and over the next few years, he just doesn’t have the necessary tools to unseat a QB like Russ, especially when more and more people are beginning to believe that he can return to his best Seahawks form.
