this is so good because the only vacation i ever went on growing up was to florida. i was 25 the first time i went to new york--isn't that way closer? [okay, i used to drive to morgantown as a teenager, too. but i could only be there for a few hours at a time really.] florida's nice as hell though.

Every year when we were kids, my father would load all 4 of us kids and our mother in his caddy and drive all the way down from Pittsburgh to Miami! Along the way we would stop at the wacky weird place called, South of the Border" which had Pedro, loads of signs from Virginia to South Carolina where this place was, or was it North Carolina, either way it was south of the Mason Dixion line! It was crazy and this brings back so many memories! "Yinz kids"...need I say more?? Haha!

After living there for 8 1/2 years and now being back in the 'Burgh, I can tell you that Florida is FULL of Jeffy's... Good to see that Pgh Dad made to to the Primanti's on the beach.
