Steelers need to CHANGE EVERYTHING! Starting with head coach!

Can you guys find out if the Steelers or JF himself is looking into adding VR training into his preparation? If his reads/processing could improve, he could be the QB we all want him to be. He has all the athleticismyou could ask for the position; just needs to improve his decision-making in passing game. VR could be the tool he needs.

Have you played the NFL VR game? It’s awful. Maybe there’s some other tool out there on VR that can help with immersive training, but the NFL game on the market that I played is very glitchy and the technology needs time to improve even for the public to use it. I can’t even imagine a professional franchise going to that as a solution.

Teams spin off into mediocrity at best & devolve into bottom feeders when 1 guy has too much control. It happened to the consensus GOAT of coaches. Idk how you can call it an "unintellectual approach" when there's a least common denominator with defensive HC/DC getting consistently outclassed in the playoffs schematically. Running Nickel vs the Raven's 6OL packages & giving up 9 ypc until finally adjusting with a 21 point deficit was brilliant I tell ya' -Brilliant! & Of course, the approach isn't nonsensical, the fans are nonsensical & the problem ... again. Talk about an "unintellectual approach" 🤣

If you are a smart organization with a smart owner, you can literally map out how to succeed in the NFL you tank for 4 to 5 years you get absolutely kick ass offensive /defensive lineman, pro bowl, caliber players, and you get generational quarterbacks then you’re good for 10 years and then you tank for another four or five years the cycle repeats itself

I will tell you this. If the Ravens keep running for 300 yards we're gonna have to do something. It's hilarious Steeler fans think that they can hold the Rooney’s accountable. We haven't won a Superbowl in 17 years. Dallas hasn't won in 30 years and they keep firing coaches. Dallas is the number one fanbase and they are not losing any fans. Our fanbase is spoiled and sickening.

It will completely go over the heads of our fans your point about how the Steelers being bottom half of the league in revenue despite being one of the most popular franchises in all of sports. The Steelers are already cheap in philosophy in spending and they don't make anywhere near as much as many of the other teams in the league do. Very important piece of info when considering so many fans comment on Coach T and his staff size or why we don't get or spend on certain players come free agency.
@AFL67pitt13 күн бұрын
Wow another non football person the only option for spending more is coaches and team facilities. Free agency money is part of the cap which is the same for every team. The only way to spend a lot on FAs is to cut players or have a lot of rookies under contract has nothing to do with being cheap
@MrABS36913 күн бұрын
@@AFL67pitt How that revenue is used to attract players to this team is my point. I know the cap is completely separate from what they can and/or are willing to spend on coaches as well. Coach T is the draw here for outside players. Whether some fans like it or not. To some, the mystique of playing for the black and gold may attract them, but it's not viewed league wise as a desired location to play for other reasons than Coach T and dawning the black and gold. And that was voted on by the team players and has been looked at that way by players outside of the team. I know the cap is the same for all teams. We have a specific way of business, only allocate funds to certain positions and that is widely known as well. So what is important to us is not the same view for other teams. But we are dedicated to what we believe is still a way to win which is defense and ball control. We have not committed to the newer era of football which focuses more on offense. We spend how we spend, and it is viewed as cheap, but by all standards, we are just super conservative and try to maximize our resources. I don't see them drifting too far from that standard anytime soon.

Mike Tomlin is a good coach. Back in the '50s President Harry Truman had a sign on his desk in the White House, and it said 'The buck stops here". Unfortunately for Tomlin, that's just the way it is, even if he doesn't have the sign. Ultimately, lots of good coaches get fired in the NFL, even if it's somebody elses fault. Like the owner. But you can't fire the owner, so the buck stops with the head coach. Wrong or right, Tomlin is losing fan belief. And he's darn lucky that the owner hasn't stampeded with the herd.

Who took the last 8-10 first round draft picks out to dinner Alan? I swear you MUST BE either the most uninformed person that covers this team or the biggest Tomlin cob-gobbler in his arsenal. Either way the head coach is the absolute authority in this organization. He has at least a 90% say in who gets drafted. He has 100% say in who his coordinators are. They are no names. They are retreads. For Chrissakes Teryl Austin was fired by the Bengals for being the only DC to allow 500+ yds of defense 3 consecutive games. And we picked him up? 🤣 That’s Mike Tomlin. We get wiped for 299 yds in the playoffs and he makes no change. Care to know why? Because HE is not going to fire himself. It’s his defense. It ALL comes down to Tomlin. You don’t know 💩
