Pittsford, NY Memorial Day Parade 2009

Citizens of Pittsford NY honor those that have died for our freedoms with a memorial day parade. It's a great small town parade, with a serious message. Thanks to the fire department, ambulance, elected officials, band members, and others that worked to honor our veterans. The parade concludes at a local cemetary.

Band # 1... Very good. Nice to hear Sousa's Washington Post. Band # 2...I don't care for their robotic style of marching. Band # 3...Organized mayhem. Age is no excuse. Almost embarrassing. Band # 4....Plays well but Sweet Caroline doesn't belong in a parade, unless N. Diamond is the Grand Marshall.
