why do you say that endocrinólogist or neurosurgeons are the ones that should be looking at these images. The fact that the radiologist missed the diagnosis is NOT enough to make a statment Like that. I have seen many specialist making wrong radiológic diagnosis

So true, that is the arrogance we as radiologist encounter all the time. Orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, cardiologists you name it, many think they know CT or MRI better. But when it comes to putting their name under a report they get cold feet. Retrospectively it is always easy to criticize. Actually, this arrogance is dangerous for patients as it interrupts necessary interdisciplinary exchange that is needed nowadays.

That tumor is indeed hard to See. I guess the biochemical test + result plus symptoms shall make us not to give up easily on looking for the tumor in pituitary, meantime, not to misread hypertrophic pituitary gland as a tumor.

@soy_sweet99 Oh! I have one too but it’s 2mm. I have some symptoms. Headaches and no periods at all.
