WW2 tank designs I saw in this series (because I’m a ww2 guy) ALIEN: Panzer 3 (early, short barrel) Panzer 4 (long barrel) SFKFZ.251 APC Halftrack Tiger 2 (the big gold tank you saw defending the emperor outside on the bridge) SDFKZ.222 (I know it looks like it was made out of haste, but the design fits) HUMANS: Sturmtiger T-34/85 (Lots produced) Pershing/IS-2 (not based on looks, but uses the same chassis as its predecessor) M4 Sherman (not based on the looks, but how it has the characteristics of the tank like high-production numbers) Jagdpanther (sloped, armor) Tactics that the Aliens used that were similar when Nazi Germany was losing: Volksturm (civilian aliens with little training who were forcefully conscripted to fight, I couldn’t find scenes where they were alive but the black aliens are likely civilians) Using destroyed tanks as immobile turrets (common on the Atlantic wall, example on 2:00:30 and 2:24:07 ) Killing deserters (Hanging and execution. Common during the battle of Berlin 2:10:18 )

So what I can guess there's about 4 classes within this society, with some further subclasses Black are the lowest, the common/poorest class. Grey are the middle-class, with light grey with the goldbands being like NCOs. Light purple and purple might represent the upper class. Sidenote: An interesting thing I also noticed them was how an overwhelming number of the purple have the goldenarmbads, indicating the aliens have a bloated officer corps. The goldish aliens are very likely a royal guard. Now the browns ones are very hard to tell, as there's nothing to indicate that they a specialized role in the society. Maybe they're suppose to represent a special force or specialized division, but I'm not sure on that. Also I noticed how long it too for a collaborators to be gain, but they only started appearing at the end. This means that the aliens society was so rigid, so conforming, it took the government last stand for them to finally turncoat. Though we had scene signs of discontent with Greys shooting purple in some scenes to surrender. However, surrending doesn't mean collaberating. And aside from the end image, we don't see any Purple, Gold, or Brown surrending. Only the Greys and Blacks. Some intresting details I noticed

I love how the humans are more alien then well…the aliens. The aliens look so different now, it kinda makes me sad, their old designed were so cool, but these new ones make me think of multiple races working together, like the xenomorph aliens from season 1 and these aliens from this season. Also the aliens were so much more raker in this season then the last, it almost makes me sad how easily they get mopped up and it makes you almost want to root for them. It’s almost like they got sent back technology wise, how some vehicles use lasers and energy bolts, infantry guns just use straight up bullets, like human guns. I love this series very much and it’s very well done, take your time and travel at your own speed

I like how this time around the aliens are actually the victims, the people are torn between a selfish imperial government and a force of hate and destruction. Humanity isn't the hero in the second season and neither are the aliens themselves. In the end it is the people who suffer and have to survive. Revenge can't be justified. It is like the title says "Alien Invasion" this is Humanity doing the same thing that happened to them in season 1. In season 1 we rooted for Humanity and in this season I rooted for the aliens.
