Sweet ride guys, what a dream bike! Graphics look On Point, got your weight weenie sorted, and your Geo is so new school, it must have an online degree! This bike gets my heart racing before I have even thrown a leg over it. Pivot has always had Gravity Control built into their bikes - Pivots climb so well it's like gravity doesn't exist but when you head down some how they harness gravity, making blasting descents even more exhilarating. Great to see Chris on the bike too!

I got to demo this bike today. I went to try a 429 trail but I think I liked the Mach 4 SL better. It was so light but I thought it descended amazingly especially in technical steep stuff.

I have been riding my World Cup XTR live valve build for 6 weeks now and LOVE IT!! Hands down BEST XC bike I have ever owned (Yeti, Trek, Gary Fisher)....I love my Yeti but the Mach 4 is even better! Great work Pivot!!!

No one can tell you what tire pressure to run but you. You have to find what works with best for your weight, bicycle, tire/wheelset/sealant combo and riding style. Firm enough to prevent rollover, squirm, punctures and rim dingers, but soft enough to conform to the trail for lowrolling resistance and to provide a tiny bit of feedback to feel the trail when it gets techy.

thats why they have different builds. for years specialized has been selling their top end epic builds for 11 grand. nobody is putting a gun to your head and forcing you to buy one. they will sell anyway
