That's because they are frame by frame animating with full characters, this is done with rigs which makes it significantly easier.

I have waited so many years for this!! I love this series so much and this video did not disappoint. Your animating in this one is a lot different than part 3, but it still looks soooo amaaaaazingg. I'm actually kind of glad that there's going to be a part 5. Waited so many years, and it was worth it. This is, I'm not trying to exaggerate, the best pivot animation I've seen so far. Seems to me you're in a league of your own, if you ask me. You inspired me to animate in pivot again, but I won't. It's not that I don't have the patience, but it seems I've realized I don't have the motivation in order to get things done the way you do. I have to commend you for your dedication and your hard work. Though, not only your hard work, but presenting me with the absolute most engrossing thing I've seen in a while. I gave up because I started to animate in Middle school when I actually had time, and when I started to improve it was at the beginning of High School and I simply had no time to animate. I even still have Pivot and Flash on my laptop but I hardly ever touch them.

I have a question, why do these good animators have the characters get hit in sweet spots or have a broken bone but it doesn't affect them at all? Like hits back of head, slows animation down and shows a crack happening, Acts like a normal punch and keeps the fight going, I mean sure it's a super alien race, but when bones break you don't go "Oh he/she hit me in the leg and I heard a crack, welp lets start fighting again!!!" I mean please explain this to me.

Pivot is much harder to use than Flash specially when you're running at 24+ fps. The movement was smooth and there was a damn good amount of background detail. Truly the best pivot fight ever! (10/10)
