PIX Promo - Twilight Zone Marathon (1994)

Long before a Certain Cable Network co-opted the reruns for their multi-day, New Years Day binge sessions, PIX aired Twilight Zone Marathons Twice a year (4th of July AND New Years...before the Honeymooners took That slot permanently later in the 90s). This is a Promo for One of those Marathons

This was the moment i discovered TZ, and I was only 5 years old. And I believe this was the very last TZ marathon on WPIX before it strictly went to the Sci-fi channel.

I remember being a kid in the 90s and seeing the promo aswell as watched the 25 hour marathon on PIX11....i had no idea i would grow up to own the complete series on dvd as an adult , WOW such nostalgia!

@@matthewlee4697 when mine got erased i was heated because watching those marathons on WPIX was very special and magical and felt at peace i have the DVD completed edition but i just feel watching them on television had a charm to them back in the 80s and 90s

Well since SyFy has all but abandoned The Twilight Zone, Decades has awesome marathons now.

SyFy now is the worse with so many commercials, they cut almost 8 minutes of the episodes , "Heroes & Icons" are the very best for the TZ marathon now 😊

@@vlcheishI believe Sci Fi channel got the rights to TZ in 1995. I think 1994 was the last year for the marathons on WPIX before going to cable permanently.
