Y’know, I thought I was gonna hate this, but I don’t. It feels like more effort went into this hotel revamp than the last few. Overall I really one have one complaint, which is NMW (Needs More WALL•E).

As someone else said, there most likely is going to be a dresser installed along that yellow wall. There’s an access panel for the bathroom plumbing that needs to be covered up, and those switched receptacles are likely for additional lamps at each end of the furniture piece. Probably didn’t deliver in time.

Thanks for the room tour and I will definitely stay there but not sure if we stay there next or the Disneyland DVC tower next. This is the second room tour I’ve seen and nothing been said about the door on the yellow wall by the bed, what is that door for?!?!?! Is it a ‘Being John Malkovich’ door way? Come on tell me the freakin door is?!?!!😂

I love the new look, but the lack of drawer space and the closet right next to the toilet make the room not very functional for me. Thanks for the tour!

Nice to see them going the extra mile. Too pricy for me when I can stay elsewhere multiple nights for the cost of one night, and still in walking distance. It's not like Disney World where being inside the bubble for transportation is so valuable.

Or if you do want to splurge, you can stay at the Westin or JW Marriott and it’s STILL less, but there’s room service, several restaurants, rooftop bars, etc. They did do a good job, though and the rooms are huge.

They attached the lamp to the desk because they know guests will try to steal it, not because kids will try to re-enact it jumping up and down. This is why we can't have nice things... unless it's bolted down.

I stayed there as the Hotel Pacific looking out of my window as they built DCA, as Paradise Pier within the first year it was changed, it’s probably been over 15 years. This just doesn’t seem like a good room for a family, ok for a couple. No real drawers for clothing, just bad design for families, with the bed out only the desk chair too sit. Just doesn’t seem designed with children in mind.

Perhaps they should put the old metal turnstiles back on every ride? Or even bring back the creepy original character costumes from when Disneyland first opened? With resorts like Wilderness lodge, Port Orleans french quarter, Grand Floridian etc, I want to see the next evolution of immersive theming. Not what looks the same as offered by competing hotels off-property with a few decals placed here and there.

@@WDWNTGood to know. I like the beds at the Westin, although the DL hotel has decent beds, too. I’m partial to DL hotel if I stay on property.
