I have the pixel 4a for almost 3months now. So far its the best phone camera i have ever used. I bought it when my iphone 11pro is broken and need a fixing. I bought this 4a as a backup phone. And guess what it became my daily phone now. Can't believe how good it is.

Very thorough review on their cameras, features, night sight etc. I have a question and that is: Did you took the photos on Night sight on the Pixel 5 using the ultra-wide lens on 2:41? I know this does not apply to the Pixel 4XL but Google removed astrophotography on the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 when they released the camera update 8.1. Their Ultra-wide astrophotography had pixelation problems and a green hue. I am interested on the Pixel 4 but I still don’t know if the Pixel 4a has better camera enhancements than the Pixel 4. It seems the Pixel 4 may be the better choice from all three phones you reviewed.

FYI some shots look unnatural because they have a pink tint, not that they're warm, 17:08. They can be either too pink or too green.

@@arshiyafarsi3889 I can only comment on 4xl which I found really great. The camera was fantastic, people say the 4xl battery wasn't that great, but mine lasted a day no problem. Good phone better than my iphone 12 Pro Max but I'm buying the Google Pixel 6 Pro next month which will be outstanding.

always pick the latest one, the 2 camera setup is alwaays better. if you're unsure, 4a 5g and 5 are basically the same so pick according to your size preference or wallet.

My pixel 4a 4g video performance is the worst. Lot of noise in indoor videos. My 2 yr old poco f1 is performing better in video department. So I'm using poco for videos and pixel for photos

For the price just get a used 4 or 4xl - faster chip vs the 4a and 5 (noticable when taking alot of continues photos/video) , better stereo speakers blows the 4a and 5 away , microphones and phonecalls better on the 4 and 4xl , battery yes 5 better (not huge compared with the xl) and doesnt outwight for me the other points , more people with 4 and 4xl should complain too google for same or better video options as the chip is still faster and would handle it better (Google does owe support on their true flagship!) Ps some people mentioned the neural engine gives overtime a better batery life too OS usage based.

I always prefer stock for simplicity, I used to have camera px to force the astrophotography even in decent light to take very detailed shots at night, other than this they are the same but if you want to play around with the settings the camera px is a good app for this
