I'm really glad to hear a positive take on the video capability. It's such a mixed reaction among reviewers. Has me a little down because this is the number one thing I'm hoping will improve. Wow! Noisy video! I mean really noisy and a lot of blur and I don't mean Bokeh. I'm at 6:19 in the video and like other reviewer videos, the photo and video look like they are from 2015 Samsung phones. I really hope I am not seeing this right or KZbin is distorting the video for some reason. Ok this video is in 4K but the resolution looks like under 720. At 14:51 and just before, you can tell he switched to a real camera. Notice you can see detail on his forehead. In the footage he took with the 6 pro, even in great daylight and with the main camera, his forehead is slick smooth with no detail at all unless he wrinkles it for a moment. That is not 4K quality even though im sure its 4K file sizes. I really hope the camera is better than it looks here.

I am convinced that I will enjoy my 6 pro. I have one issue that I noticed watching this video: no face tracking. This should be a must have for a flagship camera that is to become a vloger standard. As you spoke to the front camera, the camera focused on the background and not your face. This should be a no brainer for a phone with a computing power like Pixel 6. People need to point it out, so the software update gets it right.

Cheers for showing the small segment about how well Genshin runs on the Pixel. Its a game I play a bit on my s21 and I was a little worried about GPU performance - you've definitely calmed my nerves lmao. Seemingly runs smoother looking at that short clip than my phone and on higher settings too.

Very curious as to how this device performs as a phone, email, and browser. OK, it has a good camera and you can play games. How's the voice quality when making a phone call? What about this banana format the 2021 phones all have that are tall and narrow? I am not young and I struggle to read news and websites with my Samsung S21Ultra because the narrow width dictates such small fonts. You showed a Pixel 5 that was obviously wider. Did you prefer that width or the narrower Pixel 6 width? There are so many poor usability aspects about the S21 that after a month I am already shopping other phones but all the reviewers are 20-somethings that just focus on camera, selfies, and gaming.

Great video, thanks for your work. Not gonna lie, the regular 6 seems like a champ for it's price with main cameras being essentially the same. Pro is in the flagship territory and I don't think it really holds up in anything besides Night Sight and maybe audio capture. Google is known for discounts though, so who knows what it would be in half a year or so.

7:30 I'm casting this to a huge TV that's 9 feet away, very close. You're demonstrating Magic Eraser, a landscape pic you took, with the phone in portrait and the phone is only 1/4 of the landscape KZbin screen so the image you're demonstrating on is about 1/20 of my TV (or 1/20 of KZbin). If you want to show something, show it. I can barely see the items you're erasing.

For the first time, I don't envy Joshua about have a Pixel phone to play. Instead, I envy the external scenes with carefree people to be together. Is still impossible on Brazil, but not for long. There was a very long way, since 2020, coming from there to here.... Pixel 6 and its amazing cameras comes to see a reopening world. Best photos and videos that a smartphone can take.

good to see some pixel 5 v pixel 6 footage comparison - probably a large audience watching who have previous pixels, that's really interesting to see. if you do a deep comparison would be good to see if there are any differences in superres of the pixel 6 using the main camera e..g is it any better than the pixel 5 x2 digital and at x7 times is it better due to to larger sensor + algorithms.. Could you get away with a x4 zoom using superres for any shots requiring that 'zoom' ? versus the pixel 6 pro telephoto...

one thing im not too pleased with is how much noise you get and sharpness you lose with the .7x compared to 1x. Been a big pixel fan for years and was hoping they finally improved video drastically (while they did but not as good as I expected). But every review i see, it seems that the iphone 13 keeps its quality consistent with ultra wide and standard video and google is still struggling after all these years.

My Biggest concern is - that I owned a Pixel 2 XL and the camera died on me this year - yes - the BLACKENED Camera; the internet community said - the Camera died as it's soul - the Hardware flew away.. I live outside of the UAE; so what gaurantee does Google Give; to help such customers; in case of a Hardware Failure and there are no centers for help; in the Gulf region.
