Can anyone comment on the mobile connectivity performance of the P9 Pro? I know it uses different Sammie modems than the garbage ones in my P7 but I won't go anywhere near a Pixel again until it's confirmed to me that the horrendous cell connectivity issues issues of my P7 aren't repeated.

I actually just switched from a P7 to P9 Pro and I definitely am having better connectivity. It's actually surprising how bad I was used to it being! Everything about this phone is a solid upgrade from the P7 from the fingerprint scanner to the selfie camera. Definitely would recommend.

I switched from Samsung S20 to Pixel 9 Pro - and I see many usability issues with pixel... you have to do extra steps/tap more buttons to do a simple thing... and it's not a fact that I haven't used to it yet.... in addition Camera is not capable to work when it's 36F/2C . Taking pictures outside at that temp simply shuts down Pixel!! I reproduced that issue many times... SO you cannot rely on Pixel 9 Pro if you want to take winter photos :))))) it will shut down your phone! I have never had that issue with Samsung that worked great at low temp. Will return Pixel 9 Pro... it's only good for Florida :))))

Anyone has a problem with Camera? You should test the Camera when it's chill outside :)))))) The Camera shuts down that phone when you take picture when 36F/2C and the phone is in original google case.. . I reproduced that crash many times. So basically if you want to take a winter picture be prepared that Pixel 9 Pro will shuts down repeatedly while using the Camera. I just recently bought Pixel 9 Pro, and will return it. I never had that problem with Samsung S20 - I did many pics in Winter time when it was freezing outside, Samsung worked great! I could understand that limitation when it's -10C/14F.. But not when it's not even below 0C/32F...

Did I get a lemon? I've heard so many good reviews, but my audio is super distorted and even pops and crackles no matter what I'm listening to, including Google maps, if i turn the volume up past 30 percent or so. KZbin and other apps also hang frequently and Bluetooth has trouble connecting to certain devices including the car. Is this normal for the pixel pro 9? I've only had it for less than 2 weeks.

I've dropped mine on the ground getting out of my truck a few times without a case and it's held up very well. It's a tank but is slippery without a case.

I LOVE my Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Never looked at the Z Fold, no need to. Z is too small, narrow. One fixable beef on the 9: To increase Blue Tooth range and stability (a common complaint), turn off A2DP in the developer section. A2DP is an extra step in sound processing that isn't missed in my buds. Otherwise, great job.

It's not good, nowhere near the amount of custom features as samsung, no full screen camera, no ram cleaner, no Dolby Atmos, can't remove the Google search bar, I find this phone horrible I'm returning it 2morrow

I switched to pixel 9 pro xl from iPhone, and i LOVE everything about it! EXCEPT the screen is toooo yellow (it's like you always have nightshift on on iPhone) and you can't change that. And the camera is hyped up. An iPhone is as good as this one. And iPhone has more vibrant colours to their photos. I think it's the reason to why I'm sending it back. But besides that, I love it more than iPhone. It almost breaks my heart to send it back :/

My Pixel 8 Pro is still going strong, and the 9 Pro doesn't seem to be much of an upgrade now that Android 15 is here. So, I would probably give it a miss this year and wait for the 10 Pro, which will have a TSMC chip. I'm not too sure of the reason the Pixel 9 is being hyped, as it is basically playing catch-up. Especially as it is no longer a bargain flagship, the onePlus 13 will take that mantle. Easy pass.
