Good content! Well, You should have included the vivo X series too. Definitely iphone wins in the battery test but it's so visible that in every battery drain test that the iPhone's display brightness gets little dim or you can clearly experience this issue while doing some photography in direct sunlight. Well, it could be a feature in the iPhone to dim the brightness when it gets hot and that's what makes it's battery performance even better.

I'm really impressed by the Samsung, and especially Oneplus. They both push higher resolutions than the iPhone, have more RAM, and use less aggressive app closing and management algorithms, and yet their battery life is so good. Super phones have come a long way. Their battery life is essentially comparable to regular phones now.

In terms of battery size, cooling and performance. The iphone is the winner everytime. Oneplus did some magic on mobile data usage, so there it shines huge. I personally love android, but the iphone even tho its the same every year, it just have the whole package. I love my 15 pro. The last good samsung phone was the S21 because the rounded corners layed nicely in the hand. The s23 feel unpolished when held in the hand. Oneplus still got it, but sadly no compact device. This is my personal opinion. I know yours may be different :)

I like the way that the Tensor G4 throttles early to benefit it's thermal properties and battery life. It's flat out processing power is only on par with an old Snapdragon 888 chip, but it does simple to mid range chip intensive tasks so damn well. It isn't a benchmark killer, or anything near this, but so what?.

The iphone screen is noticeably dimmer than the other phones in this video. Looking at other videos, side-by-side with the Galaxy S24, the brightness will look equal and the S24 beats out the iphone in those videos. edit: This could be because the iphone is dimmer by default, looking at more videos I'm seeing some with the iphone noticeably dimmer, too. Lover of Tech's comparison video for example, the iphone is noticeably dimmer but with cellular usage the battery life is essentially identical to the Pixel 9 Pro XL (and gets stomped by the OnePlus 12).

Some points 1) They make their own software and hardware. And as a result they optimize and tune heavily. Whicb is nit possible on other phones. 2) They use a 3NM efficient chip. That helps consumption of lower watts but same performance. 3) They have AI monitoring in their battery technology. And AI helps optimizing battery. Apple went from the worst battery smartphone to longest lasting smartphone. They have learnt their mistakes from iPhone 11

I have the S23 Ultra & the OnePlus 12. When I shifted from iPhone 12 Pro Max to the S23 Ultra, the battery life I was getting was twice as much. But when I got the OnePlus 12, I was getting 1½ to even 2 hours more SOT than the S23 Ultra. So after seeing this video I am very impressed with the iPhone 15 Pro Max's battery optimisation with 4422 mAh here. I can only imagine the battery life one could get if Apple made their battery size as big as the OnePlus 12's 5400 mAh.

Android 15 has made my battery worse on my pixel eight pro so Samsung needs to do some work not to make it even worse. I assume that is why Samsung has delayed the beta.

DISCLAIMER!!! iPhone 15 Pro Max is very good at dimming its display . Thats my findings when i did a speed test. And same thing happens here. 15 pro max has dimmer display
