@@newfnshow031 but it doesn't have ANC or Transparency mode, and that's the reason I used to use the Airpods Pro quite regularly during commute. Also it has better mics, wireless charging, and is more comfortable than the Pixel Buds and Airpods as well. And ya I use all of those features. I like to be able to just place the case on my table and for it to wirelessly charge or place it on my P6Pro while the phone is charging.

One slight correction, Mike: You can control volume on the earbuds with the Galaxy Buds Pro. It's a "Labs" setting, though. When activated, you can tap the sides of the earbuds to raise or lower volume. Tap the side of the left earbud to lower volume, and the right one to raise it.

@@gabe_irl it worked really well imo, and u don't have to deal with miss touch, bcs it uses it accelerometer to detect action, rather than responding to the touch input it self, how do i kno? well if you tap assertively near your ears, it actually respond to it, kinda futuristic if u ask me, and similar to what the sony did to their linkbuds

I have buds 2 and it's better to tap the side of your head than the buds, it detects it and changes volume.

Just do one thing, it's actually one of the most accurate volume controls I've ever seen. After turning that feature on, instead of tapping sides of earphones I just double tap backside of my ears. It just work way better.🤣 I think even Samsung doesn't know about this.

I have owned the silver Galaxy Buds for almost a year, not quite. They are the best headphones I've ever owned. I actually bought them for $90 with taxes USED from best buy. No issues at all. I love the block touches feature. Never had an issue with phone calls and the classic "I'm having a hard time hearing you." The gloss is very out there, also wear and tear seems to show because of that. Almost like pepper looking on your headphones. To clarify, my mom accidentally ran over the bud with her car. How it survived idk. 😂 but it does show that sign of damage now, and I feel like it's more significant with the gloss. No issues with the case, I actually love the fit. I would say they last around 8 hours, but it's not doing much more. Galaxy wearables is a fantastic Samsung app for the buds. Having said all this, the Pixel buds pro have a nice look to them, with that amazing color choice. I may move to them. At the end of the day, I have had no issues with Samsung or Google products. They are both very good in the long haul.

I've had my galaxy buds pro for over 9 months and they never disappoint, they sound amazing and the IP water resistance has endured some heavy sweating (I use them at the gym), also I was able to disable Bixby and now the touch and hold of my right earbud activates google assistants so basically with the galaxy buds pro you can get the best of both worlds! However I always think that the best earbud is the one of you ecosystem, if you own a galaxy device the galaxy buds pro are the best option, if you have a pixel go for the pixel buds pro!

​@@gabe_irl Update: So after some research It's possible to change voice assistant to Google. You have to go to system Settings, search for Bixby and clear "Default" settings. Then go to Wearables app and map a long touch to voice assistant - it will allow you to choose between Bixby and Google. But Google Assistant work with hotword "Ok, Google" also, even if you choose something different for long touch (maybe you have to turn Bluetooth support in Assistant settings).

Pixel buds pro also have conversation mode now, tuning is also better after new firmware update, smaller carry & better backup is killer. Also better anc & live translation ❤. Only downside is no higher quality code but for online music & calls that is never a concern.

These are actually the two I've been carrying around to work and etc. Sometimes the pixel bud pro and the a-series I couldn't keep the Galaxy buds pro in my ears for anything for months and stopped using them I had to buy the foam tips for them off Amazon and they finally stay in my ears so I'm using them second to my Pixel Bud Pros....the shape of the pixel buds is way more comfortable to me reminds me of the buds live fir

Bummer to hear the Galaxy sound better, cause good google integration would be pretty awesome. I just had the Galaxy bud pros, and had bought the Soundcore liberty 3s as well with the plan to return the ones that I don't want. I mean after hearing the Soundcores, there was no way I could return them. They sound significantly better than the Bud Pros. And the Bud Pros sound great. I was hoping the Pixels would sound as good as the Soundcores and have better comfort and features. But doesn't sound like it.

Totally agree soundcore 3 do actually sound better especially if you used the equalizer presets. I am using the bucksnow preset and its sounds great. I only wish they have the battery life of the pixel buds

I went and got the pixel buds pro they get delivered today but I went through Amazon so I have a 30day return , I'll get the buds 2 with my zfold4 pre-order so if the galaxy buds pro 2 are better and come with multi connection then I'll return the pixel buds and get my $200 back if not keep the pixel buds and sell the galaxy buds pro 2. But I feel in the long run the pixel buds pro will be better since all the features aren't on them yet and Google is pretty good at their earbuds updates .

Mind you I rarely use ANC but to me they sounded pretty much the same. Only differences I've found were that the Pros have a lot less battery, and they don't stay in my eara

@@bryce1361 I can't say how easy it would be to find new OG galaxy buds but the buds plus may suit you just fine. the dimensions are the same with the OG but with an extra mic, bigger battery and case battery life shows in app I'd say my only nitpick with that would be it's glossy finish 👨🏽‍🦯

I love the new Pixel Buds but, BUT they feel like a replacement of the A Series. I own a S21 and I was hoping to get a Google Buds, but now im very confused. Why spend 220€ on something that has THAT BAD microphone quality. It's incredible. Also, imho reviewers put too much attention to everything else. Buds are for calls, then music. I would only go with the Pixel Buds if I had a Pixel phone, as a Galaxy phone owner and owner of Galaxy Buds Plus, Pro and Buds Live (don't use the plus anymore) they go together and they are CONVENIENT, even the Buds Live have awesome Bass, but you might want to get the Buds Pro for that seal 🦭.

Here goes: I like the Pixel buds in the looks department, I like their feature set as well and finally I think it sounded better in the mic test. Sound will have to wait until I actually hear them. I heard the Galaxy's and found it competent, I'm waiting on my Pixel buds to see if it compares or not. I could care less about active noise cancelling personally, but I guess it's important to some. Great comparison Mike, I look forward to the same with the Apple Pro's added to the mix!

I have the same colour buds pro that is in the video and its been nearly 1 yr since i purchased them and i think its pre good but the ANC is a bit disappointing cuz eventho i turn on the ANC still can hear the transportation or the cars running down beside me and the call quality when i call someone they would tell me that they couldnt hear me that well but still its definitely better compared to the buds plus and the buds live

@@shaunbrady15 Linkbuds S are not overpriced for what it's worth. It's perfect. If you fiddle with the EQ, it can sound as good as the XM4, just a lil' inferior instrument seperation and soundstage. I have both the Linkbuds S and XM4 but returned them both and stick to my 3 year old Beoplay E8 2.0. Maybe I'll wait for the TWS version of XM5.

Both mics sound like shart. The Samsung is slightly better. I would take either of them (and especially the PBP) over the AirPods, but the Apple device does seem to do quite a bit better job with the mic -- although they also sound like shart.

Rocking buds Pro, sounds low for me, the volume is just not enough, not to mention it slides out of my ear faster than soap bar in a prison shower

Pixel buds look better, I even have the galaxy buds pro. However, I do think the galaxy buds 2 are a better look than the pro version

The samsung galaxy buds all give me an ear infection except the live they do another an better version of those and yes I've gotten all of the samsung buds and I love the bud's 2

I had the first galaxy buds no problem then o got the pro and in just 1h i feel uneasy so return them . No idea wtf Samsung did .

I have the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro, and unfortunately, like many, my ears had an allergic reaction to them. I'm hoping to get a refund for them soon, just haven't had the time. The other bad thing about them is that they would always fall out. I almost dropped them in a lake once. But sound quality and features were good. I also have to Apple AirPods Pro and Bose QuietComforts. The AirPods were the best until Google and Samsung finally made their own so that they would work better with the Pixel and Galaxy ecosystems respectively. The ANC on the AirPods were really good. The sound quality on the QCs are good, however, the case is too bulky to fit in most pockets and the earbuds themselves are quite big. Since I have a Galaxy S22 ultra, I'm waiting to see what the Buds Pro 2 are like, but I'm scared that I will have another allergy. I like the design of the Pixel Buds Pro so I might end up going with those if there are no groundbreaking features on the Buds Pro 2.

aesthetically the pixel buds are way better. they fit well, and that glossy metal look on the Samsung buds is trashy looking

One slight correction. On the Galaxy Buds Pro, you can seamlessly connect to multiple devices. I have done this on my Samsung phone and on my MacBook pro!

I love how the TLDR breaks down to. "If you want ear buds for ear bud reasons Samsung. (Music, Noise Cancelation, great microphone that cancels noise well) if you want flashing things that don't really matter Google Buds. (bad sound, sub par noise cancelation, upscaling Micro phone [after tone correction for background noise]) but better assistant and battery life." Isn't that Google story though. makes expensive thing that work just enough, to charge a premium price to let you down. but atleast they aren't locked into one eco system like Apple and their over charging asses.
