You can draft your opponent and catch up only if you're close enough behind . When drafting there is literally no way you will lose a race unless you hit another car, then there is a big chance you lost the race instantly.

The reason why the r32 caught up is because of draft since he was right behind you so when you’re playing touge and they overtake you go behind them and spray nos as you get behind them for a mad speed boost

In cruise or 1v1 your opponent can draft you. if you want to win in 1v1 on cruise. do not let him draft you. But you can draft your opponent if left smoked

The reason why Porsche isn't in the game is because of the exclusive license that EA has with Porsche, I don't know exactly when the contract expires but I know it was somewhere in 2017, but that might be the reason they removed it from this game.
