I recommend to only use mythical flamethrowers like the battle horn bc idk if its just my level (level 33) but the battlehorn one shots sometimes 2 shots people when fully upgraded.

The best method is to use a weapon (preferably heavy) with rocket jump and headshot. Invincibkle lion dislike and earth tremor are good options with jetpack and if you want the black mark gadget as well.
