Rome 2 had worse mechanics and bad terrible combat compared to Attila. By all means, Attila is rome 3 The only problem with Attila is that it runs like shit.

Captain Samuel Bellamy (February 23, 1689 - April 26, 1717), later known as "Black Sam" Bellamy, was an English pirate who operated in the early 18th century. Am I mistaken but it sounded like General snipering is something frowned upon by the total war community. If this is the case that sounds stupid to me. If I understand the term General snipering or sniping it means targeting the General then what's wrong with that. The first strategy game also one of my first ever computer games was Centurion defender of Rome, in that game your General unit is literally one man on a horse. You could use him against units flanks or backs if they were engaged, you Could attack the other General but you and the enemy General has no health bar so you have no idea who will win until you commit to the fight. Now this made your General very vulnerable and men panicked easy in this game and loosing a General is a big thing. The enemy AI would often go straight for your General if the opportunity would arise. Going for the leadership of the enemy surely is a realistic endeavour, and as the saying goes "All's fair in love and war".
