It's better to play with friends. I put so much effort to built the first farmer and tress on the first island. Once you reach across the island to the new land, you have to start all over to built a new civilization again so much work to do. It's better to have 4 players to save a lot of time.

Great tips. I learned a few things, even after playing 8+ hours today. I would request however that in the future that you save things like how to find that secret glider chest for a spoiler section at the end. I would have preferred it remained a surprise. I didn’t even know yet that there were gliders (except for your other vid on it that spoiled it in the thumb and title). Otherwise great vid.

Thank you! And thanks for the note regarding the secret chest, that's good feedback. There will of course always be some videos, like the Glider one, that spoil stuff, but yeah, we keep it in mind. Btw, the Glider is featured in almost every official screenshot and video teaser, well done avoiding those. 😆

Just learning how to build the chest in the beginning would have been nice. It didn't exactly stand out to cycle the c key to the Storage tab where you can build them in the village. I hope they add a ring to show the build area of village or the eco area of effect when you plant a tree. You kind of have to guess and of course flat open ground always the easiest.

Culkin actually suggests building a Storage Chest and gives you all materials required (I believe after you built the farm), so that's kind of tutorialized in game. Better placement options to visualize things and being able to move main buildings would definitely be a great improvement, there's still a lot missing in terms of quality of life.

My OCD is killing me, I place the farm too high when it didn't register as raised and now the back stairs is off the ground and I'm suffering everytime I see it, ahhhh painnn but great video tho :) I hope they make it where all structures can be removed and placed after placement.. it's honestly annoying

Had the same with my farm in a previous playthrough, drove me nuts. 😄 Let's hope they're adding some options soon, as it's also quite tricky with placements when you level up villages.

Yes, there are even tasks you get when upgrading your King Tree further to plant seeds from different biomes in your ecosystem. I presume the only outcome is that you get plants from different biomes in your (for example) tropical ecosystem, and thereby resources you might otherwise not get there. We haven't played too much further yet, so there might be other benefits as well.

How do you tier up your ecosystem

You talk to the little Sprite at your Colossal Tree, he will tell you what the upgrade requirements to level up your tree are!

@@samanthadoerr5896 Have you talked to the small Sprite who sits at the foot of your tree? He gives you a list of tasks you need to fulfil in order to level your tree up. Some levels also require you to level up trees in different ecosystems - so it's a longer process.

For some reason.. placing decorations around my village doesnt give me any extra culture points..Buildings do but not decorations..I think its broken..

That's incorrect. We're just launching it normally from Steam, no Epic account needed. There is just an option to link your Epic account if you want to, but not needed at all - which they have unfortunately not messaged clearly.

Due to spoilers, I’m not watching this video. I only have one question. How do you make an oven? It’s not even on my build, craft or fill order lists for me to even see it. Besides that, I’ve figured everything else out. I just need an oven to make two nutritional salads so I can fix the bridge to cross to the mainland. I also need to get to the mainland so I can acquire limestone. This oven is riding on a lot. Someone help!

Some buildings/stations, like the Oven, require certain Villages to be further upgraded. Since you are still on Amani Island, you can't unlock it yet, but you can craft the Nutritious Salad at any campfire. Hope that helps!

@ Makes all the sense in the world to me & that helped ALOT. I wanted to make a campfire cause I was curious if it would yield the same results, but I was on limited resources (wood, thatch, etc) so I didn’t want to use that & then not be able to make the salads. Thank you so much! Fixing the bridge, now I’m able to progress the story & do EVERYTHING else. Thank you soooo much, dude. *Subscribed*
