Congratulations and well deserved honor! MOTU was the first line of toys that I truly collected and loved as a child. It has always been dear to my heart, and now it is again my favorite line to collect in all its variations. Thank you for showcasing your passion and documenting the toys that we all love. Congratulations on getting an honorary cameo in a mini comic. I would love to see a Masterverse Pixlor. I also hope we get a chance to see New Adventures Nordor and Starship Eternia Origins Playsets (with scaling to accommodate Masterverse figures). New Adventures just needs a little more love.

I love this set , but do agree a origins version is much needed too , that said I’m digging that pack in comic cover art, even though we got one I would love to see them do a new Eternia 2 pack with Tuvar and badra in that style

I'll see if I can get this, won't lose any sleep if I don't. I haven't really been buying the the Cartoon stuff, but if this was Origins I would fight anyone for it! The comic makes it feel like they were planning for Origins and changed their mind. Supposedly one is coming, but I doubt it'll be in this kind of deluxe packaging.

Dan, you talk as if Mattel were to never produce and release Two-Bad in the Origins Toy-Vintage sub-line. They just made a decision to go ahead with the Origins Cartoon Collection first in this instance and that's all, basically. Missed it by 12 minutes. Apparently sold out in 10. Previous Creations lasted longer, but this time since I wasn't there at launch for once. They are gone. And we get videos online by reviewers who got theirs early and are disappointed. At least you have it. I mean, that's on Mattel for not making enough to meet demand. I just hope they know how many people have dumped Origins over the past few years from it being too difficult to collect. I'm almost there and I only cherry pick the stuff.

Agreed!!! Two Bad was one of my favorite figures as a kid with the original line and I enjoyed collecting the origins line. I'm looking forward to getting the Two Bop Steady.

I think I prefer this one over the vintage. I never liked that wide chest and arms locked in weird positions. I wouldn't be surprised if they release a more vintage inspired version with scales and such later on. It's also cool that they made that Mike Young backstory canon to the Filmation series as well. Guess you could say they "merged" the two together eh? So cool you got put into the comic like that!

When this set was first revealed, I had assumed that these two made an appearance in the original cartoon. Maybe that's why it's an exclusive, and a standard "Origins" Two-Bad will show up? I have to ask though, are they still doing "Origins" figures that AREN'T "Cartoon Collection?"

I’m guessing them going with the Cartoon version first is a sign that Mattel is really intending to go all in with the Cartoon Collection. They’ll probably save the vintage looking one for Mattel Creations. I’m guessing the combined look is slimed down due to that being the standard look for the Cartoon Collection. Looks weird though. The heads look a bit too big on the not so bulky body for me. Congrats on getting a character named after you!

I'm guessing that if they do a regular Origins version, they'll use the same body and legs, just with different paintapps to have more details on there. And newly sculpted heads more in the Origins-style.
