The Pre/Post Vertex Painting is Very Classic Tech beginning from 201. Happy to learn it works with MOPs tech that I never thought about it. Thank you Greg! I used this method all the time to deal with transparent textures like Crystals or Gems in MODO that will get breathtaking result ✌more than imagines.

Cool. Yeah, the first time I did this I used the smooth vmap command, then I was like 'Why am I using that...just use the Mop'. You can go fully proceedural with 'Set VMap' mop too and a select by index for the verts.

Why are you still talking about modo's texturing whereas all universe already long ago moved to subs painter and marmoset?
@ModoBro Жыл бұрын
because it's incredible and you're a d1ck. Hth

Some of us artistvdo not have that program and videos like this is very helpful. Remember we all are on very separate learning levels. Many people that only has Modo will like this video 100%

@@Lync1111 modo's texturing is outdated method of texturing. Througth 10 years it will ceased to exist whereas subs-painter will be at the peak of success. You'll regret the years of your life you invested in a dying texturing method.

@@arttemplarno5257 that's some next level stuff on your YT channel 😂 you surely are a pro 😁💩

@@arttemplarno5257 Substance is great and there's Substance videos on this channel with 10's of thousands of views. The whole point of this was texturing without image maps and baking down to one later. It's procedural in terms of the feathering and resolution independent. You can't do either of those in Substance painter. Also, Modo's texturing method is as closer to Substance painter than any other 3d app (layer based). But thanks for watching (I guess)
