Thanks for the very insightful Texture Painting & Shading tutorial! So many important concepts can be learn from it. But, for that Makeup Setup, from 4:58, I do not grasp the purpose of Alpha Socket (Makeup Image Texture Node) to Factor Socket (Mix Color Node), because, aren't those already different, independent Image Textures (layers) anyways, and already blending together just because of the Mix when they combine in the Mix Color Node?

Awesome tutorial! If I wanted to export the character to a game engine, is there a simple step to export all the painted layers as a texture (or with multiple textures, usually I see 4 for image, normal, specular)?

Hello seinsei! Thanks for your tutorials, I never had problems with them until today ha... I layered textures like in the video, but instead of blending, the model became transparent when rendering textures, and in the shader editor it is just dark 😣 Hope for advice if you can of course ha. Thanks in advance ❤️
