If you make some thing a title does it have to stay on the page to keep the title? I mean could you write the date on that page, make it the title, then remove the text from the page (to make more room to write or for whatever reason) and keep the title function previously created?

It’s really personal preference! I would order a ceramic nib though (standard or heart of metal) because the writing feel is so unique and you can only get it at SN. You can get the LAMY elsewhere online (just order one with a POM nib)

In every video i have seen, it seems people pay attention either to keep their hand in the air, or let it on the desk. I do not writte like this, i use the book to be stable.

Can anyone tell me about using notebooks created in the A5X in a A6X and vice versa.

They should be cross-compatible, as the two have the same resolution (the A6X has higher ppi) and use the same firmware

What is the difference between creating a template, or just importing a pdf form? I am mainly trying to complete fields in forms, so am I better off just importing a pdf to write on?

Thanks for this great video. Do you have a different Notebook for each subject (i.e. customers, manufacturers, sales meetings) and then the Title is the Date in the Notebook and the Keyword would be the Customer Name?

I don’t handle files quite the same since my work is project based not client based-I have folders for specific projects, notebooks for certain types of notes (e.g. meeting notes) and keywords for certain broad topics (e.g. Training 2021). I use titles mainly to put subtopics or dates within a notebook. Hope that helps! It’s different for everyone :)

This is awesome thank you. I have a question that I don't see answered anywhere. Being a new supernote user, should I be writing in Notes or Documents? What is the difference, seeing as they both have the same structure once you go in the file. And second question, if I'm writing a story (short novel), should I write it in a Doc (word file) or a note? I know the benefit of a Doc file are the gestures that come with editing which are great, such as crossing through words to delete, but are there disadvantages? If writing in a Doc file has those gesture advantages, why wouldn't everyone always write in a Doc file? Thank you!

Right now I am inserting various templates into a notebook to cover all bases for my planner, but I would much more prefer the easy navigation shown in your video. You can’t link templates/notes at the moment, I’m referring to internal links in a PDF document :) So whoever makes the PDF file has to add the links in

So to download the planner you linked in this video's description, I should download all of the 2022 dotted or lined PDFs from the github page, then manually add internal links to each page in my supernote device...? @@jch0326 no, you just need to download one. The links are between the pages in 1 PDF file (it will probably make more sense after downloading and using one of the files!)

It occurs to me that the Supernote would be useful for document or form signing instead of the usual online way of choosing a 'canned' signature version of one's name in place of a real signature.

I am considering getting an A5X. I want to use it primarily for work notes and To-do lists. The one question I have is about filing the notes. Let's say I have a meeting with Company X today and take notes and file them away. During the year I make notes about this account on 20 occasions. Can they all be filed under a Company X file, or do you have to open the file and continue with notes or how does this work? Also, do you know if Remarkable is better for these features? Thank you very much for producing a great and professional video! I have an a5x on order. Why do you have both sizes? Which size do you use most often and why? It seems the only possible advantage (other than slight $ difference) is portability.

I actually only have the A6X. :) But they run basically the same firmware and have the same resolution, so things work the same. The short version of why I wanted the smaller size is that’s what I’m comfortable with and think of as “notebook” size (similar size to my paper notebooks) instead of tablet size, and my main use is note taking.

You're welcome! :) The document I show in the Digest segment/demonstration of the video is actually an epub of Pride and Prejudice, so yes that works for ebooks! If you mean highlighting (using the highlighter instead of drawing brackets) that doesn't go into the Digest, it's just like highlighting paper

I seem to be in the minority here but like some of the other people commenting, I looked at this video and many others before committing to a Supernote A5X, which on the whole I’m happy with. However, I am getting some bad behaviour - when I first start to use it each morning (20 mins or so) I get a lot of “shadowing” not sure of the technical term, sure there will be one - meaning that I get lines appearing in the wrong place when the nib of the pen IS NOT actually touching the screen. Also, during this early period of usage, toggling between functions does not work well either, pen nib seemingly not recognised in the right area of the screen. Not sure if any other users have experienced this and might have suggestions to resolve…? Thanks.
