So glad that you have come up with new strips for Pixie and Brutus. Pixie is my Siamese cat Java, and I am Brutus with CPTSD, as soon as my friend brought me Java, my flashbacks reduced by over 95% and have stayed low for over 2 years now. Long story but the whole 9 lives thing is reincarnation, Java is on life number three with me, since 1980, her first time was as Ginseng and lived over 18 years, it took her a while to find me but did as Joss and was with me for over 8 years until our sailboat exploded with us in it just over 3 years ago. Java was born just days after the explosion though I did not get her for almost a year. We live on our new to us sailboat and are doing very well. Pixie and Brutus remind me so much of Java and myself, and the rest of the locals remind me of the local pets and wildlife around the marina we live at. We have river otters that live here, grey heron, osprey, bald eagles, ducks, beaver, birds and bats. I refer to Java as the M1A1JAVA Marine Air Defense System, we do not have bird crap on our boat and several of the neighbors encourage her to guard their boats as well, so Java also has a bit of Brutus in her as well.

Heh heh, years ago at my old college, next to it there is a big old Moravian cemetery with very elaborate mausoleums and graves. Very popular for local schools to bring younger classes there on a field trip to look at the old graves. Well, there's a problem when you go there in spring, because ALL the various birds are out and courting...."Yes, they are 'helping' each other." I busted a gut on the way to class when I heard a teacher give that excuse to a group of what looked like kindergarteners. Granted, that was 20 years ago, so most kids probably know what's up in this day and age, lol. Though, some of those kids just looked like they were thinking "really? Adults are dumb!"
