SOOO GUYS, I started this animation over a year ago with my goal to finish it in three months. I finished it up by 70% but since then I was so unsatisfied I stopped and concentrated on animation university instead. We finished 'Pawsys new home' and I got to work together with LUXX Studios on my very first feature film (which will probably still take 2 years or so to be finished). It was a big honor and now that I'm back at university we have a new project that features a small Gecko. Stay tuned for that!!
I personally am not very satisfied with the outcome of this (many things went wrong during planning, mostly for Brutus) but I learned a lot from this so I posted it nevertheless.

This is horrifyingly adorable, also kinda shows the difference between the way people talk to kids about war. I was born in Eastern Europe and parents told me about war in a rather horrific detail when I was 2. I wasn't really able to understand mortality at the time so was like oh so people just might one day show up and start killing each other? Well OK! And then in kindergarten we ran around pretending to kill each other and being soldiers.

Great job portraying Pet Foolery's comic in an animation The subject behind it is very serious, ptsd is very real for people and animals, including those that have fought in war. You did a very good job with the animation to express the struggles these people face as well as show Pixie's innocence to the manner. And Brutus is just sitting there with heart palpitations wondering if his little baby will survive, which she does, but she's not the same anymore. It went from ketchup ball to Find Charley for those 4 years. Now she's a grumpy mature cat with matching eyes like Brutus. Will she go back to normal? Definite no, but Brutus still treats her like his old adorable kitty. He even had puppies while she was gone, so Auntie Pixie has some company.

Also, Dimitri finds a some rations, that will be enough on month. He wonders:"We need to go in Russia. I know, how." Dimitri takes a trip from Afgahnisan to Russia...... After five months, they come in Dimitri's house. But Dimitri is tired. He just wanted a break from the war for an hour or two. He straightened his sleeping bag and fell asleep. Soon he would have to wake up and make breakfast for the Pixie.
