Much as I love the Pixies stuff, seeing this makes me cross with Black Francis. He had such a special rare combination of people in his group but he just threw it away. If only he'd learned to deal with his massive ego and allowed Kim Deal's brilliant material into the band, instead of merely great Black Francis and Breeders albums, we'd be talking masterpiece after masterpiece.

@@blackmore4 I wouldn't all place it on old Frank, Kim seemed to carry alot of energy as well. I think in the end, those two were way too stubborn for their own good. The blame generally falls on Black because he was the leader of the band, but does that really mean anything when they were so tight knit to begin with?
