@Grey42 Dude It's not a cover, it's just a total copy of Maxence Cyrin or a tutorial for the cover of Maxence Cyrin ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/an-9lZqdg7qpp5I ) published in 2009. You're saying ''That's my cover for Pixies - Where Is My Mind'', it's not !

I come across this from Mr Robot & then remembered it's also from Fight club. Very fitting, as Elliott creates his father in his mind just as Tyler Durden is fiction in 'Jack' the narrator's head When you just sit & listen to this piece of music, just the piano, it's so powerful & moving. It's reminds me to take a few minutes time out & think about how normal life can drag you down & make you lose track of what's important in life. The bullshit we elevate as the be all & end all. What's important is empathy with others, really caring about what others are going through & not dismissing it. It's how you connect with others is what defines you, not the material things. Human connection is what's being lost & sometimes something like this piece of music jolts you back & you realise what's truly important. I'd say anyone would want to be a better person after listening to this, it's that moving.

“What if changing the world was just about being here, by showing up no matter how many times we get told we don’t belong, by staying true even when we’re shamed into being false, by believing in ourselves even when we’re told we’re too different? And if we all held on to that, if we refuse to budge and fall in line, if we stood our ground for long enough, just maybe… The world can’t help but change around us.”

I'm not usually one to share emotional stories in the comments, but this version of the song almost perfectly represents the sadness and hopelessness, of school for me right now. The stress, loss of sleep, constant work, plummeting grades. And not being able to care enough to pick yourself up from it. True hopelessness. Don't get me wrong, I'm really grateful for school and all the friends I've made from it, and happy experiences I've had in it. But in distance learning, all that is hid away while the worst part of it shines. This song lets me breathe for 2 minutes. If my life was a movie, then this song would be playing in the scene where all hope is lost. High school starts once this year is over, and then after summer school is over, and I can only hope that it doesn't repeat what's happening now. Thank you for making this, it's definitely helping me through a hard time.

Sometime ago I met a good friend and this was the song that started it. She helped me a lot and even saved my life when I was in a really dark place, in a cave you might say. But she never gave up on me, was always there, being the dumbass I was I drove her away because I was too stupid to see what was actually happening... Well now I see it the way she did a couple years ago, the goodness in her heart wasn't in doubt, and this song just puts the nail in the coffin on my casket.

The ones about despair, losing my mind, and the struggle; but I can say that I've gained a new perspective. Now, "Where is my mind?", you ask; well it's been with me this whole time...I've just made it better. Thanks for the memories and the feelings, but from here on out I know I'm not losing my mind, because I understand myself and others. I just ask for awareness, and it's my duty to apply into action. It's a good movie, even if it is more homoerotic than brokeback mountain... Just don't take it seriously, I don't mean this as an insult but only losers can love it. It's a movie for the forgotten nobodies and nameless beam counters, except that it's not but in the end we project the message we want to receive. On a side note, I'd keep my eye on anyone that says it's their favorite, that goes for Mr Robot too.

Are you able to offer any advice or insight into how your learning I really want to learn but sometimes I feel like its not worth it or I dont have enough time in the day ... or even im simply getting to old. Thanks man. I know your problems sometimes I don't have enough time to pratice too and I'm very lazy person. :D I often don't touch piano for days and weeks. I think all these days I've practiced only half of them. Tips are simple: 1. Play scales Yeah, It's realy boring first time but I'm considering it like a meditation after work forgeting about all othes problems and worries. If you can do it for one month in a row You'll see the progress and as faster you play more interesting it become. 2. Use metronome Play everything with metronome. I will pay off. 3. Play slow I mean very very very slow. If you cant play a peace in right tempo play it slow(even you can play it faster) then go faster faster. If you still can't play it in right tempo repeat.

In my case, I learned piano by myself and I play it since 10 years now. Sure it needs more effort when you learn by yourself than when someone teaches you. But it has its advantages. Music theory will clearly help you, but you must not forget that music is feeling too. The best advice I can give you is that you should learn songs you really like (there is a LOT of KZbin tutorials) You’ll learn new things while you practice it. Every new song you learn will make you a better pianists / musician. Study the song, you’ll get experience and theory if you make some researchers about the songs.

I've recently watched Fight Club and I was very emotional, loved it. Yesterday, I bought a perfume I fell in love with on a first sniff, it is the most feminine yet bold scent I've ever smelled. And after I got home, I wanted to watch the perfume commercial to get the vibe of the fragrance a little more. Interestingly, it was this melody they used in the add. (Narciso Rodriguez - Musc Noir). I love the fragrance even more! I'm sure it will make me some lovely memoires.

Finally got the chance to watch Fight Club through last night. (Slight Spoilers ahead) Damn that movie had so many existential concepts being thrown at you at once. Tylers dialect is so overwhelming when he's explaining the disassociation between a generation of men who were raised by women because of the societal standards of consumerism controlling our actions, and actual thoughts and *needs* . I happened to watch American Psycho a day ago and it's ironically the polar opposite of this idea. In the American Psycho world, people are so caught up in their image of others that they basically lose all individuality to fit in. It's why you see everyone with the same hairstyle, suit, and why their business cards all say "Vice President" and basically look identical. The point is that in American Psycho, the ending of the film seemed to revolve around the selfish needs of those to fit in and their conformity making them mindless "sheep" for the system. In both movies, I've noticed that when one embraces society to a high degree, they lose individuality. In Fight Club, when the members cease to care about societal standards, they make decisions that are inherently "bad" for them (getting beaten up). But like the people in American Psycho, it fulfills their need for status in a world that otherwise doesn't know they exist. But in the end of Fight Club, the members even drop their names for "Project Mayhem" (a cult like practice) and therefor, lose their identities in the pursuit of Project Mayhem. Only when Bob is killed by the police, does everyone recognize him by name and they agree that in life, nobody has a name, but in death, we all have one. In both scenarios it seems that when you take someone who is willing to take anything to its absolute limit, and mix it with an identity crisis, you get maniacal actions in the pursuit of that identity. Ironically, orders being given by a leader, and followed by those who are involved with him. The thing about "Tyler Durden" in Fight Club is that he is doing all of the dirty work with the guys. He does not find himself special, nor does he find them special, and therefor they are equal in his mind. Corneleus or whatever the other personality's name is loses fights just like the other guys. He is not invincible, nor unbeatable. To the other guys, Tyler is one person, but depending on the fight/time he could be either personality to himself. Tyler never loses fights from what I remember, but he does allow his ass to get whooped multiple times in the film, showing he is no better than the others, hence why they have such mutual respect for their cause. They all feel equal. I guess Identity Crisis films are my go-to of the week. Got the Godfather movies on tab next. Ahh, here I go again Babblin' on like Babylon. I appreciate if you read my synopsis on those films. I realize this isn't overly the place for it but you play this song so beautifully that it must've been thought provoking... I appreciate chu and wish you the best! Keep your stick on the ice, I'm pullin for ya! We're all in this together!

Idk what to do and i just really want to feel happy again, a sense of happiness and love. i feel like my mind is really lost and i have no sense of purpose or living, not in a suicidal way. Maybe you've got your heart broken, not necessarily through a break up. It'll pass or rather you'll learn how to cope with it and eventually you'll find someone that can fill that gap it's made for someone special and it's about time for you to meet him, and about losing interest in life it's probably because you stress yourslef too much I guess you're over thinking stuff and for that I suggest you look around you and appreciate what you have friends and family trust when I say it could've been worst. Also you're growing up you'll learn how to deal with certain situations and emotions it's how we grow up as human beings we just Learn how to cope with what life throws at us and we learn from it so we can move on and help others that been in our shoes I'm not sure if you'll ever read this but it gets better my friend even when you go through hard times it'll pass I promise. Have a blessed day

My dear friend (Gil) and at one point mentor, who introduced me to blink 182 and many other songs such as this one but the white wives version. I recall this song being put in the intercoms by my assigned staff member(Gil) for rollcall while i was in rehab.. i’m filled of emotions when it comes to hearing this song as Gil has taken his life and left his beautiful wife behind. They never got to have kids. A year ago on Christmas day. Gil raised me through the darkest points of my life as well as many other troubled people at that rehab. As far as i know he had depression just as i. A numbness that eventually becomes a disease. For him.. he couldn’t sleep at night. It got to a point it drove him to take his life and he wanted more than anything in his life to be with Jesus Christ. Side note. I apologize for the random train of thought. My mother had me take a test for autism but never shared the results with me. Lmao.
