When you applied the Diffuse Glow filter it boosted the highlights, but I did when following along, it did the complete opposite, it made the highlights completely black, I have no idea how to fix it, any idea of why that happens?

Thanks!! looks like magic in the first example - why not work with 16 Bit for better resolution ? Can this workflow go with RAW files?

Some filters and adjustment layers, such as filter gallery, do not work in 16 bits or higher.

7. Duplique novamente a camada "Antes" e arraste-a para o topo. 8. 10. 12. Agrupe as três camadas superiores e mude o modo de mesclagem do grupo para Sobrepor. Isso criará um tom HDR extra. 13. Ajuste a opacidade do grupo do tom HDR para controlar a intensidade do efeito. 14.

interesting technique, but the HDR render is not really appreciated anymore. And to be honest most of the original midjourney picture were cooler before.

Interesting technique but I don't like the results. Looks like a cheesy "beautify" filter.
@Pixivu Жыл бұрын
Sorry to hear that! However, all images used in the tutorial were created with Midjourney. You may achieve better results by using your own images or stock images.

Wow... are we back to unrealistic over the top HDR? Ok... maybe on Instagram... but even there if you got some serious photographers or post processors following you they laugh at you. And 8-bit images? Sorry. I do appreciate you teaching us photoshop. It's just that i got a like early 2000's flashback. And thought maybe it needs a warning that this isnt the look any pro is going for anymore. Sure. It s art you can make it your own. And if you like this unrealistic style go for it.... just dont be frustrated if the images arent not praised by peers . Personally I would use this only at 10% strength of what was shown here. And only on certain images. Like the Product shot (Burger).

??… why edit in 8 Bit ??
@Pixivu Жыл бұрын
Some adjustment layers and filters don't work in 16-bit color mode or more, such as the Filter Gallery.
@PeterQuentercrimsonbamboo Жыл бұрын
@@Pixivu - ah..yes, of course... the reason why I have always hesitated to use those filters much and rarely open that panel... I like keeping my image files as 'clean' as possible to make large prints .. and with quite a bit of editing-manipulation sometimes getting to the edge of limits with banding and other degradation, 16 bit seems to indeed preserve the files better :-) - certainly not a right or wrong either way, just a case by case decision to make - thanks for the reminder -
@Pixivu Жыл бұрын

It's cool, but it doesn't look very good. In my opinion. Perhaps if you dial it down a lot. But, thanks for showing, still.

Nice guide, but the thumbnail is a scam. It is terribly exaggerated, and the film says something completely different than the photo would suggest.

I can perform the tasks like a monkey, but I'd rather understand the "Math" of how this works. Anyway we can get a video that explains what actually is going on? I use other techniques that I understand and I would like to use this technique but with more knowledge of how it works.
