Ah, let people vent. They have every right to be angry about that TCM set. The price is absurd and sets a dangerous precedent for future extravagant physical media releases and as far as thinking Jaws The Revenge isn’t a bad movie. It’s not only the worst PG-13 horror movie ever made, it’s one of the worst horror films ever made period. There’s nothing edgy about thinking otherwise.

I was cracking up listening to you tell the story of you trying to see Halloween 6 in theaters 🤣 whenever I wanted to get into an R rated film, I’d just buy a ticket for a PG13 and go into whatever movie I wanted to see

I'm one of the biggest tcm fans/ collectors owning some of the franchises holy grails like the Cook's coveralls, Nubbins, choptops plate, and a real chainsaw the pt3 Excalibur, so money wasn't a problem on this.... it's just a total ripoff and taking advantage of fans! I would let my feelings of disappointment out here as I'm sure others are going to in their reviews and comments. I love you Dark Sky Films but you really dropped the ball on this one. You were headed in the right direction but the bang for the buck on this when it should've been the end all be all edition isn't there to justify this purchase as once you take the movies out it's basically a glorified popcorn bucket to go see the movie in theaters with. All the 50th merch on the site could've been included for the 300. Oh I wondered why there was no sound effects, pulled the sticky tab off the little sound piece that looks like an old school black roach motel(not even a piece that has a on/off switch and replaceable watch battery like most things) then it played once, then played again broken up as I moved the saw, then nothing since.... defective for 300, then hearing people getting free "review" copies on top of it all crumbling down receiving this in the mail and was to be the bright light to help get me through this hurricane that hit ga in dealing with damage, uprooted trees, no power, "no gas", just disappointment, sad and now broke when I could use that 300 to get through this storm damage. Fomo got the best of me, planet chh and other tcm collectors and podcasters. I will be messaging you dark sky to respectfully vent my frustration over this. Again it's just this release not anything else. I would like to know how the sound effects could be fixed, compensation, merch, partial refund and it should've been half price at the most! Worst release fumble of the year ..... so far.
