I made these and let me give you some tips. Use alot more cheese in the video. You can barely taste the cheese. Also, REALLY IMPORTANT. DO NOT OVERSTUFF THEM. When I made these, the sauce and the pepperoni started squishing out of the sides when I tried rolling them up. Lastly, try to use the minimum amount of dough. When I tried these, all I could taste was the dough and barely the cheese or pepperoni. Thank me later. :p

Biscuit is a sort of quick bread, and the dough for it is often sold in those little cans you saw at the beginning. I think the closest you could find in England (I've never been there but I'll take a stab at it) would be pizza dough, or maybe even croissant dough. Probably pizza dough since these are mini pizzas.
