Bless your heart, you are the sweetest thing. I have feeling we are around the same age. Your recipes remind me a lot of what was around when I was growing up. We made this exact thing using hamburger buns. It wasn't healthy, it was cheap and easy with 2 working parents in the 80s. Fast food was a treat back then too lol

i seldom use foil on my baking pans. the food doesnt come out as good. let a little water soak on pan before washing it, makes it much easier

I made a Rueben pizza once with thousand Island, sauerkraut, corned beef and I think I used mozzarella and I sprinkled some caraway seeds on the crust before baking. It was tasty!

I have been making this for years. I sometimes make it on flour tortillas. When I was in grammar school Friday was pizza day. They made the pizzas on English muffins. I loved them.
