I use this dough recipe to make lahim bi'ajeen which is a traditional meat pizza. I also use it for things like fatayer & pizza. It also works well for mana'eesh!
400g plain flour
10g yeast
1/2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup luke warm water
1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp olive oil
Activate the yeast by placing it in a large bowl with the luke warm water, the salt & sugar. Let it sit for 5min.
Add the water, milk & oil.
Add this liquid to the flour & knead to create a smooth dough ball. Place in a lightly greased bowl.
Cover & leave to prove in a draught free area for at least an hour before rolling out to use.
