A bit OT but : They laughed at my Sandwich Maker, but it makes a great McMuffin. A few tips.. Hold off putting the cheese in the bottom ring until the cooking is done. That way the cheese does not run and melt away A slice of American cheese can be carefully tucked in. After you have pulled the middle plate out, lift the top push a toothpick through the muffin. This prevents the muffin from sliding apart when you lift the rings to remove it. Thank you for your creative pizza effort. I will definitely try it.

I'm sure one of those people that laughed at your device will eventually end up buying one, lol! That is a good suggestion with the cheese and the tips. I will give it a try. That's the thing with the sandwich maker, they give you the basic instructions on how to use it. Once you get familiar with it, you can make some tweeks and also get creative.

Cool! Let me know how it comes out. Be sure to toast the dough on parchment paper for about 2 minutes prior to adding on ingredients . After you add the ingredients, you can remove the parchment paper

Yes that bottom plate nearly burns up the bread I have cut parchment pieces to place on the bottom plate but now I believe I will double them or us my toaster oven

Do you have all your ingredients prep beforehand. The times i may have nurn my bread is when I probably had to go in the fridge for something or maybe never had the meat or cheese out the package. It's similar to cooking in a wok if i could use that analogy. Everything needs to be prep, ready, and move because of the high heat. I would say don't give up on the device

Yes my things go right in and I cut the time like somebody said to four minutes and unplug it and just leave it sit and that was still too long for the bread but the egg was cooked but it still can run down you know anyway, I solve the problem I bought myself a dash mini grill I cook my egg on that it has a ridge. It doesn’t spill. Also, I sear my pre cooked sausage on that dash mini grill. It does a great job, then I put my English muffins I butter them slightly put them facedown on the dash mini grill made a great sandwich. I paid $12 for the dash mini grill. It’s more hands-on but works flawlessly. My sandwich was completely great. The dash mini grill is low power as well for my RV so I’ll probably do something with the sandwich maker, I can return it.

I understand that not all devices are for everyone or at least do not work for everyone. I bought a dash my pint ice cream maker and have failed multiple times even when I tried Sorbet, which I thought would be easier than ice cream. I'll hold on to it. I feel one day I will get it right. As you mentioned, the mini grill is low power and probably is perfect for you RV. At least you gave the Hamilton fair a try

With the large dough, you can probably cut out 5 pizzas. With the extra dough, you can bake to make croutons or toasted pizza dough bites and dip those in sauce.
