In the UK we have a vegan burger at McDonalds (ask for no mayo) and the fries are vegan too. Both items are fried in vegetable oil.

Burger King does have a veggie burger here, but last time I checked, their buns had lard. Taco Bell does very well with vegan and vegetarian accommodation. I'm not either right now, but one of my favorites is refried bean burritos with red sauce, al fresco style! You should try it if you haven't.

I've written to McDonald's several times about carrying a Vegan burger. Also wrote to Burger King as they actually used to have a Vegan burger but now it's Vegetarian as it has egg whites in it. Don't understand why these fast food places don't get on board....

1/2 cup cashews (soaked) 1 cup almond milk (unsweetened) 1tsp white miso (dark miso okay too but then won't look like mozzarella) 1 tbl nooch 4 tbl tapioca starch Pinch Salt Pinch Pepper Tsp lemon juice Half tsp garlic powder Puree everything together Thicken in pan keep stiring( if you gonna use on pizza than it will thicken in the oven anyway so better to only VERY SLIGHTLY thicken in pan so it's a cosistancy that is easy to spoon on top pizza without sticking to spoon or needing to try and spread that sticky mess out, litteraly like 1 or 2 minute on high will do)

You say keep stirring, is it cooking while you're stirring or does it just thicken while stirring?

Gail Bender Tapioca starch is like corn starch. When you put it in a liquid and heat it up it thickens the sauce. But don't use corn starch. Tapioca starch is a different stringy texture. But keep it mostly liquidy so easy to spoon on pizza (Will thicken more in oven)if you want use this cheese in other recipes thicken it in a pan on med high for like 5 minutes or until clumps up and gets stringy.
