Good review. Lombardi's and Ponzetti's are 2 of my go to places. As for Roses I stop in there a few times a year. If I don't fell like driving out to Wal Mart Ill check Roses first.

Glad you liked Lombardis! I have been going there since it opened in the 1970s! The owner {Paolo} is a great guy, still there every day mingling with his customers and making sure all are happy. If you eat in, I highly recommend any of their pasta dishes with meat sauce, which is about the best meat sauce I ever had!

I don't think I've had Lombardi's Pizza I have to try it. I generally go to Roses every summer when I'm in Ocean City. This year I decided not to go. My daughter went and she said they need better AC. She said it also seemed that their stock was not what it used to be.... used to have racks upon racks. Clothing, shoes, household goods, food, beach supplies, souvenirs. You can get a little bit of everything at Roses. I've even gotten button down white shirts for work 😂. Souvenir gifts. Towels. Pillow cases. Books. Shoppers Paradise right at the beach. Can't beat the prices....great video!

Weren't they on the boardwalk back in the 60's. If my mind isn't playing games with me again. I remember going in there after dark with our family. Hot outside and very hot inside, just fans running no ac back then, wood floors and wood tables and chairs.

I take my mother in law to Roses EVERY time we are down 🤣 🤣 we don’t fish but for a visitor needing anything for fishing quick & cheap, Roses is the place. Candy, snacks, and cleaning supplies much less than grocery store. Ironically there is another Roses! A newer one. We passed it driving to Virginia Beach. My hubby was omg we need to take mom here 😂. They do need to fix that parking lot though. Pretty sure the small dent on my rocker is from there. Also, Lombardi’s is always my MIL favorite place to eat 🤘🏻

Lombardi's is old school and they better never change a thing including the plastic meats hanging off the ceiling. The pizza is a perfect example of corner pizza shop style if you grew up in a bigger eastern or midwestern city. The star at Lombardi's for me is the mariana sauce they use on their pasta, definitely one the best I ever had.

LOL! The boys still using their shirts for a napkin. Ashley needs a lifetime supply of Spray and Wash. ROFL. But that's boys. I LOVE Roses. Not for souvenirs or junk, but for the unexpected and things I can't find here. YEARS ago we were there (probably for the Corvette show) and I found a 4' high animated witch that cackled and says sayings, and her eyes light up when she talks, for $20!! Still have it, still works! Has to be at least 20 years old. Got a big spackled roaster there for a couple bucks too, AND a small one too. Placemats, all sorts of odd things, but the prices were just too good to pass up. We always stop there at least once when we're in town. Not sure we've ever tried Lombardis. There are just WAY too many pizza places in OC, and honestly, I can get pizza at home. Always looking for places with good seafood and views over pizza. But love your reviews, always.

I'll have to try Lombardi's for Pizza been there but didn't have pizza, But i did have OC eat's Crab cake sandwich and Pizza from Ripieno's this weekend .. TBH that pizza was a memorable experience 👍

Back in the day, mid 70's, wasn't it called WOLFY'S???? The location looks the same & was @ 94th Street too. I believe there was a Lombardi's on the boardwalk @ that time as well.
